Who or what are pixies? Pixies are little creatures of Celtic mythology and folklore generally stemming from south western part of England and more specifically from Devon and Cornwall.

Their physical characteristics are usually depicted as having pointy ears and wearing green outfits with pointed cone-shaped hats.

Although pixies were originally specific types of magical creatures, they have somehow become closely associated with fairies. In today’s language, pixies and fairies have become synonymous terms which also include spirits and spirit beings.
